The kits purchased utilise a chemical etching process to permanently mark the bike frame with a unique reference number and come with a tamper resistant warning label.

Marking the bike will not prevent it being stolen and should always be used in conjunction with an insurance approved lock. They will however act as an additional deterrent and allow Police to identify and return bikes to their owners.

This is a service that we offer in conjunction with Bike Register and is completely free! all we ask on the day is for your pedal cycle to be present with you, a few details and an email address for the account registration link to be sent to.
